Find Peace in Words [activity]

We know that over time keeping feelings bottled up can physically manifest into serious illness. One simple and cathartic way to release festering anger is writing/ journaling.  Here are 4 journal prompts to help you find inner peace.

  1. What negative emotions am I holding onto? Write down any negative emotions or feelings you may be holding onto, such as anger, resentment, or fear. Acknowledge these emotions and explore ways to let go of them.

  2. What are my fears and how can I overcome them? Write down any fears or insecurities you may have and explore ways to overcome them. You can talk to a trusted friend or seek support from a therapist.

  3. What are some negative thought patterns that are holding me back? Write down any negative self-talk or limiting beliefs you may have. Challenge those beliefs and replace them with positive affirmations.

  4. What do I need to let go of to find inner peace? Write down any thoughts, behaviors, or relationships that are no longer serving you. Letting go of these can create space for inner peace and personal growth.
