Allow me to reintroduce you to the Pankofa (aka pink Sankofa) Unisex T. It was well received and we're bringing it back for the summer! Stay tuned. But in the meantime heres a quick piece on the inspiration of the design.
Sankofa is a West African word that means "go back and get it." It represents the idea of reaching back into the past to retrieve knowledge, wisdom, and understanding that can help us move forward and create a better future. Sankofa is often depicted as a bird with its head turned backward and its feet moving forward, symbolizing the importance of remembering the past while moving forward with purpose.
