ANKHOR : THE MARK

two symbols. one mark. it was always going to be one.

the story

we didn't design the ankhor. we recognized it.

the anchor was already ours. every shore that held us, held us because we dropped something into it and stayed. presence. the refusal to drift. the strength to stand in your own truth on ground that was never promised to you.

the ankh was already ours too. older than the anchor. life, breath, spirit, the thing the water could not take no matter how much it took.

put them together and they don't fuse so much as admit they were never separate. the anchor holds. the ankh remembers. one keeps you here. the other tells you why here matters.

that's the mark.

for american beach. for oak bluffs and the inkwell. for highland beach, for virginia key, for chicken bone, for atlantic beach, for sag harbor. for every stretch of sand that became a sanctuary because we made it one, when nowhere else would.

the water has always held space for us. even when the world would not.

so we made a sign for the people who already knew that. you don't need it explained. you feel it or you don't.

wear it like you know where you come from.

the mark isn't a logo. it's a recognition. if it found you, it was already yours.
