A celebration of freedom

JUNETEENTH

Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when the last enslaved Black Americans in Galveston, Texas were finally freed more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It’s a day that honors both freedom delayed and the resilience that followed.

THE ORIGIN STORY

THE SHORE WE CAME FROM

Founded in 2018 by Afro-Caribbean-American designer and engineer Jude Caze, paperxpencil© (PXP) is an apparel brand deeply rooted in honoring historically Black beach communities. Viewing these spaces not merely as vacation spots but as vital sanctuaries of survival, legacy, and peace. PXP champions a "beach state of mind", finding profound calm and freedom by the ocean, encouraging a return to inner peace and framing the coast as both a collective historical refuge and a personal retreat for mental clarity.

WATER IS LIFE

ANKHOR PANEL HAT

Two symbols. One truth.

The anchor holds. The ankh remembers. Together, they form the ANKHOR, a mark for those who have always known the water as sanctuary. Rooted in history. Pointed toward something worth reaching. For American Beach and Oak Bluffs, Highland Beach and Virginia Key. For every shore that held us when nowhere else would. Wear it like you know where you come from.
