Nelson Mandela famously drew strength from the poem Invictus during his 27 years of imprisonment on Robben Island. The line:

"I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul."

became a personal mantra — a quiet affirmation of resilience, self-sovereignty, and unbreakable will.

"Master of my fate, captain of my soul" is used to echo Mandela’s enduring legacy: that freedom begins within. He proved that even when stripped of all external power, the human spirit could still command its course.

Return Policy

We accept returns for any items that are in new, unworn, and resalable condition within 30 business days of purchase. To initiate a return, please contact customer service support via email at hello@paperxpencil.com.

We don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for digital downloads. However, please contact hello@paperxpencil.com if you have any problems with your order.

Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted to hello@paperxpencil.com within 1 week after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 2 weeks after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense.

Wrong Address - If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to our facility. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you (if and as applicable).
