Chicken Bone Beach Script Hoodie

the bold script hand lettering in this design reflects the timeless spirit of Chicken Bone Beach; a statement of joy and pride.

from the early 1900s until the '60s, the Missouri Avenue stretch of sand in Atlantic City was where Black families were pushed during segregation, so they packed their own fried chicken, owned the day, and turned it into the place to be, with stars like Sammy Davis Jr. pulling up after shows on Kentucky Avenue. this one's for the beach that took a name meant to mock and wore it like a crown, and it's officially recognized as a historic site today.
